• Played in 16 matches, starting seven and recording 671 total minutes
• Awarded the team GPA award for the junior class
• Named to the 2018 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
• Named to Clemson’s President’s List for maintaining a 4.0 GPA during the Fall 2017 semester and the Dean’s List for maintaining a 3.5 GPA during the Spring 2018 semester

In 2016 (Redshirt Freshman)

• Played in 20 matches, recording 905 total minutes
• Tallied one goal and one assist for a total of three points
• Registered one game winning goal
• Named to Clemson’s President’s List for maintaining a 4.0 GPA during both the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters
• Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll (3.0 GPA or higher) for the second time
• Awarded the team GPA award for the sophomore class

In 2015 (Freshman)

• Redshirted the 2015 season
• Named to Clemson’s President’s List for maintaining a 4.0 GPA during the Fall 2015 semester
• Awarded the team GPA award for the freshman class

Before Clemson:

• St. Joseph’s Catholic High School South Carolina state champion in 2012, 13 and 14
• Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA) Youth Soccer State Champion – 2010 and 2014
• Four-year varsity letterman in soccer
• Named to numerous all-region and all-state teams in high school
• Older brothers Alex and Austen Burnikel both have played soccer at Clemson
• Alex played from 2011-2013 while Austen played from 2013-2016 and led the team in total goals during the 2014 season
