CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 7 ranked Clemson men’s soccer program (0-0-1) takes on South Carolina (1-0-0) for the 54th time in program history. The matchup is set for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast on ACCN and live stats are available.
Senior midfielder, Nathan Richmond scored the first goal of the season and his first goal since Oct. 20, 2023 against Virginia Tech. Ransford Gyan netted the second goal with a penalty kick to put the Tigers up 2-1 over Indiana. The Tigers and Hoosiers ended the first match of the season in a 2-2 draw.
Clemson and South Carolina will meet for the 54th time in history, with the Tigers leading with a 34-17-2 record over the Gamecocks. This matchup marks the first contest in the 2025-26 Palmetto Series, presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery.
