CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s soccer team will hold its third contest of the spring season, its first against a collegiate opponent, on Friday, April 3 at 5 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field. The match is open to the public and admission is free.
The Spartans finished the 2014 season with a 6-12-2 overall record and a 5-4-1 record in the Southern Conference. UNCG has played three spring games already, with two more scheduled following its match against the Tigers. Clemson is one of three ACC opponents the Spartans will face this spring, as they previously faced Duke, and are scheduled to meet NC State later this month.
The Tigers hosted the Charleston Battery and the Atlanta Silverbacks in their first two contests of the spring, and have two more games on the schedule following Friday’s match against UNC Greensboro. Clemson hosts Davidson on Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m. and travels to High Point on Sunday, April 19 at 6 p.m.
