Agyabeng and Gyan Earn Invites to 2026 MLS College Showcase 

CLEMSON, S.C. – Sophomore midfielder Ransford Gyan and freshman midfielder Kwaku Agyabeng have been invited to participate in the 2026 MLS College Showcase in Mesa, Ariz. Agyabeng and Gyan are two of 44 invitees to the premier scouting event for MLS clubs.

Gyan and Agyabeng are Clemson’s second straight invitees to the prestigious scouting event since Joran Gerbet earned an invitation last season.

The four-day talent evaluation event will give technical staffs from each MLS club an opportunity to scout top collegiate prospects in the nation ahead of MLS SuperDraft 2026, which will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18 (TBD). The 2026 MLS College Showcase is a closed-door scouting event officially sanctioned by the NCAA. 

Gyan was named the ACC Midfielder of the Year after first on the team in points (24), with eight goals and eight assists. He was named to the ACC All-Tournament team, First Team All-ACC and the No. 3 player on the TopDrawer Soccer Midseason Top 100 list. He was also named ACC Offensive Player of the Week on September 2 and September 9 after netting four goals with three assists in Clemson’s wins over UAB and then-No. 10 Pitt.

Agyabeng made his mark during his freshman campaign, earning ACC Defensive Player of the week on October 21 as well as being named to the ACC All-Freshman Team and Third Team All-ACC and No. 6 player on the TopDrawerSoccer Freshman Top 100 list. Agyabeng ended the season with 15 starts in 16 matches played and netted his first career goal vs then-No. 10 Duke.

The eligible player list for 2026 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas on Dec. 18 will be announced at a later date following the 2026 adidas MLS College Showcase.
