CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson men’s soccer (8-5-3) has earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament and will face off with Western Michigan in the top left quad of the NCAA Tournament bracket, as announced during the selection show on Monday.
The Tigers will face off with Western Michigan (7-9-4) on Thursday at Historic Riggs Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Tickets for Thursday’s match will be $10. Fans can purchase tickets here.
This marks the 10th time in 12 seasons the Tigers will open the NCAA Tournament at Historic Riggs Field (2020 was conducted at neutral sites due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
The Tigers are one of nine ACC teams to secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament (Stanford, Syracuse, NC State, Duke, Indiana, SMU, North Carolina and Virginia). This marks the 38th overall appearance for the Tigers in the NCAA Tournament.
Clemson ended the regular season with a 8-5-3 record and No. 4 seed in the ACC Tournament.
