Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson rowing team looks to close out its 2019 fall schedule as it heads to Rivanna Romp in Earlysville, Va. Additionally, the Tiger varsity squad will make its 2019-20 debut.
Clemson is up against a six-team field which includes four ACC programs, Duke, Louisville, Miami and host Virginia. Two varsity eights, four varsity fours and three novice eights will compete for the Tigers in the head race. In Clemson’s only race so far this season, the novices made a splash as the 1N8 took gold and the 2N8 placed fourth.
Competition from Earlysville begins at 10 a.m when the varsity eights make their way onto the course. The varsity fours will compete at 11:30 a.m. and the novice eights are set to start at 11:35 a.m.
