Tigers Host Clemson Classic Regatta

The Tigers will host the Clemson Classic this Sunday as they compete against #20 Tennessee and # 12 Washington State on Lake Hartwell. The regatta will consist of the second varsity 8+, varsity 4+, novice 8+, and varsity 8+ events beginning at 8:40am.

Last weekend the Tigers competed in the ACC Championships in Charlottesville, VA where they took third with 21 points. In an awards ceremony following the regatta Clemson rowers Emily Kuivila and Kate Niebauer were both named to the 2003 All-ACC team.

The Tigers will use this opportunity against top 20 competition as they prepare for the Regional Championships in Oak Ridge, TN on May 17-18.
