Clemson Rowing Announces 2025 Spring Schedule

CLEMSON, S.C. – First-year Head Coach Adrienne Martelli and the Clemson Rowing program announced its spring schedule for 2025 on Thursday. Joining Martelli in her inaugural season are assistant coaches Kelly Kraiss, Zoe Adamson and Alana Holt, alongside the director of operations, Sheila Rinozzi.

“We’re really excited about our upcoming spring season,” said Martelli, “Most of our races will be multi-day regattas, going up against teams from all over the country. We also have the privilege of hosting the ACC Championships at Lake Hartwell this year. It’s a great feeling to have that be at home.”

Senior captains Kristen Dutkin and Maddie O’Neill lead the Tigers this year, with junior Jane Upmeyer and sophomore Elizabeth Mueller.

After a successful fall season highlighted by multiple top-10 finishes at the Head of the Charles and Princeton Chase, the Clemson Tigers are slated to compete in six races starting in February and will conclude in the ACC Championships on Lake Hartwell. The Tigers will host a pair of scrimmages, first on Saturday, February 15, against the Alabama Crimson Tide and against the Indiana Hoosiers and Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday, March 22.

The spring season begins in earnest on April 4 and 5, with the Rocky Top Invitational in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. A few weeks afterward, the Tigers are set to race in the Big 10 Invite on April 18 and 19 in Sarasota, Florida, before traveling to Raleigh, North Carolina, the next week for the Lake Wheeler Invitational on April 26 and 27. On May 16 and 17, the Tigers will host the ACC Championship on Lake Hartwell for the first time since 2022.
