Tiger Rowing to Host Alabama, Marist, and Pennsylvania on Saturday

Clemson, SC – The Clemson rowing team will host Alabama, Marist and Pennsylvania at 9:00 on Saturday morning on Lake Hartwell.

Saturday’s regatta will consist of 18 1500-meter pieces. Clemson will have six boats racing, including the first and second varsity eights, first and second novice eights, and the first and second varsity fours. Pennsylvania will also have six boats in the race, while Alabama will field five. Marist will race only with the second varsity eights.

Clemson is coming off a sweep of Eastern Michigan in a scrimmage held on February 28. After garnering a 13th place preseason ranking, the Tigers look to build on their success in the first official regatta of the season.
