Boston, MA – The Clemson rowing varsity 8+ boat competed Sunday afternoon at the 42nd Head of the Charles Regatta. The Tigers finished 21st out of 45 boats in the championship 8+. Clemson had a solid three-mile time of 16:51.67 in a competitive race that saw the US Rowing Princeton Training Center take first place overall. Clemson’s finish time Sunday was over one minute better than the team’s time last year in this event.
The Tigers will return to action on November 4 to race in another top-notch event, the Head of the Hooch. Clemson also will travel to Charlottesville, VA for the Rivanna Romp to conclude the fall conditioning season.
