• Entering his sixth season on Clemson’s staff in 2026 after entering the coaching ranks prior to the 2021 season.
• Promoted to quarterbacks coach in January 2026.
• Played a role in helping quarterback Cade Klubnik become the fourth quarterback in school history to reach 11,000 career yards of total offense.
• Was on staff in either an on-field or off-field capacity for Klubnik’s entire career which Klubnik finished the school-record-holder in pass completions (916) and pass attempts (1,432), third in passing yards (10,123) and fourth in passing touchdowns (73), total touchdown responsibility (90) and yards of total offense (11,001).
• Assisted Klubnik in 2024 as he threw 36 touchdowns against only six interceptions and finished third in the nation in touchdown responsibility (43, including seven rushing touchdowns), just one off the national lead.
• Part of an offensive staff that season that produced a 3,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard rusher and four 500-yard pass catchers in a season for the fourth time in school history, joining three seasons in which Clemson played for the national championship (2015, 2016 and 2018).
• Returned to football in 2021 after several successful years in real estate.
• Helped Clemson to a 30-10 record in three seasons in an off-field offensive player development role from 2021-23.
• Authored one of the most prolific and legendary careers by a quarterback in Clemson and ACC history from 2010-13 before being selected by the New York Jets in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
• Completed 901-of-1,402 passes 11,904 yards and 107 touchdowns against 39 interceptions over 47 games (40 starts) in his Clemson career. Also added 1,165 rushing yards and 26 rushing touchdowns.
• Set ACC records for yards of total offense (13,069), touchdown responsibility (133) and passing touchdowns (107). His conference record for touchdown responsibility still stands entering the 2026 season.
• Exited Clemson ranked first in school history in passing touchdowns, passing efficiency, touchdown responsibility, passing yards, completions, passing attempts, completion percentage, yards of total offense, 200- and 300-yard passing games, consecutive starts by a quarterback, snaps by a quarterback and more. His 32 wins as a starting quarterback tied Rodney Williams’ school record and was later tied by Deshaun Watson before being broken by Trevor Lawrence from 2018-20.
• 2012 AFCA All-American who also garnered ACC Player of the Year honors that season. Made history as the first Clemson quarterback ever to earn first-team All-American status.
• Three-time All-ACC selection who was the first Clemson quarterback to earn multiple first-team selections since Steve Fuller in 1977-78.
• Was a consensus top-100 prospect nationally as a recruit out of Phoebus High School in Hampton, Va.
