Joined Clemson as a walk-on (a self-professed tryout “crawl-on”) in the fall of 2021 and appeared in 54 career games … credited with 16 career tackles and a fumble recovery … said Head Coach Dabo Swinney, “Florenzo, he’s a weapon now. He’s a snapper but he gives us a lot in coverage. He’s made a couple big, big plays for us… He’s a really good athlete. He’ll have a chance to play in the NFL at that position because he’s a good snapper and he’s a factor in the coverage game.”
2025: Once again served as Clemson’s long snapper on punts in all 13 games … credited with four tackles … made season debut vs. No. 9 LSU and made one tackle in the contest … added a tackle at Georgia Tech … contributed another tackle vs. SMU … downed a punt at the one-yard line in the final minute vs. Florida State … made one tackle at South Carolina.
2024: Once again assumed starting long snapping duties for punts … snapped in 13 of Clemson’s 14 games; the only game in which he did not appear was Clemson’s game against The Citadel in which Clemson did not punt … credited with seven special teams tackles … All-ACC Academic Team selection … made two tackles vs. No. 1 Georgia … recorded one tackle at Wake Forest … made two tackles vs. Louisville … added a tackle at Pitt … collected another tackle vs. No. 16 South Carolina.
2023: Named as Clemson’s starting long snapper for punts coming out of fall camp … snapped in all 13 games, recording five tackles and a fumble recovery … All-ACC Academic Team selection … recorded one tackle vs. Charleston Southern … made one tackle at Syracuse … added one tackle at NC State … recovered a muffed punt vs. No. 12 Notre Dame, setting up a seven-play Tiger scoring drive … posted a tackle vs. No. 20 North Carolina … made one tackle at South Carolina … added a tackle in the Gator Bowl vs. Kentucky.
2022: Earned starting long snapper job on placekicks prior to the season opener against Georgia Tech … All-ACC Academic Team selection … shared special teams player of the game honors with B.T. Potter and Drew Swinney vs. Furman … served as the short snapper on special teams in all 14 games.
2021: Made Clemson debut vs. UConn, snapping on the Tigers’ final PAT of the game.
Before Clemson: Played both football and lacrosse at Loyola Blakefield Preparatory School in Towson, Md.
Personal: Earned degree in financial management in May 2024 … added his master's of business administration in May 2026 ... completed microinternships at Segars Ranch in Montana in spring 2022. at Google in California in spring 2023 and at National Football League headquarters in spring 2024 … born July 4, 2002 … three-time ACC Honor Roll selection (2022-24) … three-time All-ACC Academic Team honoree (2022-24) … two-time NFF Hampshire Honor Society member.
