Sarah Cooper Named All-Region by Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association

Clemson junior Sarah Cooper was named a 2006 All-Region selection by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) on Monday. The organization announced first and second-team selections for each of the five regions in Division I rowing. Cooper was honored as a first-team All-South Region selection, becoming the 10th Clemson rower to be named All-Region. It marks the seventh straight year the Tiger program has had at least one first-team All-Region selection.

Cooper, a native of Westminster, SC, is also a two-time All-ACC rower. She was honored by the conference coaches in both 2005 and 2006 for her efforts on the water. Cooper rowed with the varsity 8+ this spring.
