Rowing to Hold Class Day Regatta on Saturday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s rowing team will compete against each other in their annual Class Day regatta on Saturday morning on Lake Hartwell. The Class Day race will begin at 9:55 AM followed by an Alumni race at 10:05 AM.”Class day is a great opportunity for everyone to get in a race and have a lot of fun,” said Clemson head coach Robbie Tenenbaum. “The four classes each come up with a theme, and present themselves to the other classes before the race. It is a great team-bonding event, along with a very competitive race on the water.”The event will feature each class competing head-to-head in a one race. Following the class race, two alumni boats will compete against each other. This will be the final action of the fall season for the Tigers. They will start their spring season on Saturday, March 9, 2013 when they host Duke, Eastern Michigan and Northeastern on Lake Hartwell.
