Rowing To Compete In Head Of The Charles

The Tigers’ will travel to Boston, MA this weekend to compete in the 39th annual Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River. This is the third time Clemson rowing has competed in this prestigious event. The Tigers will face compete against top rowing program from around the country on Sunday of this two day event.

Joining the Varsity 8+ for the first time at the Head of the Charles from Clemson will be the Varsity 4+. The Varsity 4+ will race in the Championship 4+ at 3:30pm. The Varsity 8+ will compete in the Championship 8+ at 4:08pm Sunday in the final event of the regatta.

Real-time race results will be available online during the actual race at www.hocr.org. Race enthusiasts will be able to follow the course of events on the Charles River through the real-time posting of split times, unofficial event rankings and adjusted times (due to penalties and/or handicaps). Times will be posted seconds after they become available to Race Officials.

The Tigers’ will conclude their non-traditional fall season on November 1st at the Head of the Hooch in Gainesville, GA.
