Rowing Concludes Racing in Head of the Charles

Clemson rowing competed in the 39th annual Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River on Sunday. The Varsity 4+, competing for the first time ever at the Head of the Charles, finished in 19:07.98. The result was 14th overall and 11th out of all collegiate boats.

The Varsity 8+ finished in a time of 17:10.84, 25th overall and 18th in the collegiate ranks. London Training Center won the event in a time of 15:31.08 and took the Championship 4+ with a time of 17:27.35.

“It was a great competition,” said Head Coach Susie Lueck. “IT was good to see where the Tigers stacked up against national contenders.”

The Tigers will conclude their non-traditional fall season on November 1st at the Head of the Hooch in Gainesville, GA.
