Men’s Soccer Ranked Ninth By NSCAA

The Clemson men’s soccer team has been tabbed ninth by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) in its preseason poll released this week. The Tigers return seven starters from the 2002 squad that finished 14-5-3 and earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament’s Round of Eight.

Clemson opens the season on August 29 as it travels to face No. 22 Virginia Commonwealth at the VCU Invitational in Richmond, Virginia. The Tigers open their home schedule versus Winthrop on September 10.
