Lady Tiger Strength Coach Carries Olympic Torch

About Stacie Cepin Stacie Cepin is in her first year as the Lady Tiger strength coach. Cepin comes from Ohio University where she earned a master’s of science degree in sports science and coaching education. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Alaska-Anchorage where she earned a degree in mathematics and a minor in history.

At Alaska-Anchorage, she played basketball for two years and was named all-conference in the All-Pacific West Conference. Before she attended Alaska-Anchorage, she played two years at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH.

Cepin was a Valedictorian and a member of the National Honors Society at Campbell Memorial High School in Campbell, OH. During her high school career she played basketball, volleyball, track and field, softball and cross country.

Cepin is responsible for the conditioning and strength training for the Lady Tigers.

“Stacie has been a very positive influence on our basketball program,” said Clemson Head Coach Jim Davis. “She has been instrumental in significant strength gains for many of our players. She also serves as a great role model for our young people.”
