Indiana, Marist and Purdue to Race Clemson on Lake Hartwell

Clemson, SC – The Clemson rowing team will host three teams in a regatta on Lake Hartwell at 9:00 on Saturday morning. Crews from Indiana, Marist, and Purdue will challenge the Tigers in 18 1500-meter pieces.

Each boat will compete in three 1500-meter pieces. Clemson and Purdue will each have six boats racing. Five boats will be competing for Indiana, while Marist will enter three. Marist raced against Clemson’s second varsity 8+ last weekend, but finished behind Clemson in each of three pieces.

Last Saturday, the Tigers won 15 out of 17 pieces against Alabama, Marist and Purdue. Clemson’s varsity 8+ is currently ranked 13th in the nation, and is undefeated so far this season.
