Clemson’s Bek, Wong ready for USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships

FLUSHING, NY – Clemson juniors Josipa Bek and Keri Wong are in Flushing, NY at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center for the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships. The duo is ranked fifth in the nation, and is coming off a USTA/ITA Carolina Regional Championship win on Oct. 25, which gave them an automatic bid into the national event.

Draws will be posted as soon as they are available at itatennis.com.

Bek will also compete in the singles portion for the third consecutive season. She received an at-large selection, as a national top-15 player as well as advancing to the finals of the Carolina Regional Championships.

The duo have won nine of their last ten matches this season, reaching the finals of the ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, CA on Oct. 10, and winning the ITA Carolina Regional in Chapel Hill, NC on Oct. 25. Bek and Wong are 10-3 overall on the season and have a 5-1 mark against ranked competition. They are considered one of the favorites to win the event, after their previous two strong finishes.
