CHATTANOOGA, TN – Clemson Women’s Rowing finished the fall season with a strong performance on Sunday at the Head of the Hooch Regatta. The Tigers entered four boats in the Open 8+ race and finished first, sixth, seventh and 15th in the field of 29.

Clemson also performed well on Saturday. In the Championship 8+ race, the Tigers finished fourth, 17th, 18th and 32nd in the field of 35. Clemson also raced in the Championship 4+ race and finished third, eighth, 16th and 30th in the field of 42.

“The Fall is all about getting in some great technical work on the water, and building our strength and fitness in the weight room. Our team has responded really well to a new training program, and we are really looking forward to the spring racing season,” said Clemson Head Coach Robbie Tenenbaum. “All four of our boats on Sunday finished off the season with fantastic performances.

“We have great depth this year, with over 70 women on the team, and we are all working hard to make Clemson Rowing the best program in the country.”
