Clemson Wins adidas-Brown Classic

CLEMSON, SC–Steven Rhyne was named the Adidas-Brown Classic Offensive Most Valuable Player after Clemson won the tournament with its 3-2 victory over Yale on Sunday.

Clemson defeated Brown 1-0 on Friday. Rhyne scored the game’s only goal. On Sunday, the Tigers defeated Yale 3-2, and Rhyne scored a goal and had one assist in the match.

The Tigers’ Justin Moore, Landy Mattison, and J.D. Brooks were named to the all-tournament team.

Clemson will open ACC play on Saturday, September 18, as the Tigers play at Duke at 7:00 p.m.
