CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will play at Duke Friday night in Durham, NC at 7:00 p.m. The Atlantic Coast Conference match will take place at Koskinen Stadium. The game will be streamed live by the Blue Devil Network.
Duke has a 2-3 record overall this season and a 0-1 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Blue Devils are led in scoring by Sebastien Ibeagha with three goals and one assist for seven points.
The Blue Devils are coming off a 3-0 victory over Georgia State on Tuesday evening. Last Friday night, Virginia defeated Duke 1-0 in Charlottesville, VA.
Manolo Sanchez and TJ Casner both lead the Tigers in scoring with two points each.
Clemson and 14th-ranked Wake Forest played to a 1-1 tie last Friday night and 24th-ranked Alabama-Birmingham defeated the Tigers 2-0 last Tuesday night.
This will be the 53rd meeting between Clemson and Duke on the soccer field. The Blue Devils lead the overall series 24-23-5. In the last 10 matches between the two schools, the series is tied 4-4-2. The two teams tied 0-0 on November 8, 2011 in Durham in the ACC Tournament last year in the last meeting.
