CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson women’s soccer team will play host to second-ranked North Carolina Thursday night at 7:00 p.m at Historic Riggs Field on the Clemson campus. The match has been designated as a Solid Orange event and fans in attendance are asked to wear orange. Admission to the match is free.
Clemson will enter the match with a 5-4 record overall and a 1-1 mark in the ACC. North Carolina has a 10-1 record overall and a 2-0 mark in league play. The Tar Heels are ranked second nationally by Soccer America, the NSCAA, and soccerbuzz.com.
Clemson is led in scoring by Nuria Zufia and Meghan Smith as both players have three goals and one assist each for seven points. Julie Bolt has one goal and five assists for seven points.
