Clemson Soccer Teams To Play Key ACC Games Saturday Night

CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson men’s and women’s soccer teams will play key ACC games Saturday night.

The Clemson men’s soccer teams will play at Virginia Saturday night in Charlottesville, VA at 7:00 p.m. while the Lady Tigers will play at Maryland in College Park, MD.

The Clemson men’s team has an 8-2 record overall and a 1-0 mark in the ACC. Virginia has a 9-0-1 record overall and a 3-0 mark in league play. The Tigers are led in scoring by Dimelon Westfield with five goals and three assists for 13 points. Virginia is ranked second in the Soccer America and soccertimes.com poll and fourth in the NSCAA poll. The Tigers are ranked 11th in the Soccer America poll and 14th in the NSCAA listing. Clemson is ranked 12 in the Soccertimes.com poll.

The Clemson women’s soccer team will play Maryland Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. The Lady Tigers are ranked seventh in the Soccer America poll, eighth in the NSCAA poll, and ninth in the soccertimes.com listing. Clemson has an 8-1 record overall and a 2-1 mark in the ACC. Maryland has a 5-4-1 record overall and a 1-3 slate in league play.

Clemson is led in scoring by Lindsay Browne with six goals and six assists for 18 points.
