CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s rowing team will compete in the Head of the Charles on Saturday and Sunday in Boston, MA. The Tigers’ 1st Varsity 4+ will take to the water on Saturday while the 1st Varsity 8+ will be in action on Sunday.
“We are looking forward to some very strong competition in Boston this weekend,” said Head Coach Robbie Tenenbaum. “We are racing against many of the top teams in the country and our eight boat will compete against not only the best collegiate teams in the country but also the United States, Canadian, and a boat of international all stars.”
This will be the second straight season that Clemson has competed in the event. Last season, the Tigers’ 1st Varsity 4+ boat finished 13th out of 21 crews.
Earlier this fall, the Tigers competed at the Head of the Oklahoma. Clemson came away with three first-place finishes in four races in that event. The Tigers’ 1st Varsity 8+ finished first in both races to first overall.
