CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson rowing team is set to conclude its fall slate of racing on Sunday at the Rivanna Romp. The racing, which takes place at the Rivanna Reservoir located just outside of Charlottesville, will begin at 11 a.m. Crews from Duke, Louisville and North Carolina will compete against Clemson in the University of Virginia-hosted regatta.
The Tigers are sending one Varsity 8+ boat as well as three Varsity 4+ boats to Virginia, and two Novice 8+ boats will also see action on Sunday. The Varsity 8+ competition will start at 11 a.m. followed by the Varsity 4+ at 12:30 p.m., and the afternoon will wrap up with the Novice competition at 12:35 p.m. Boats will go off one at a time, about 10-15 seconds apart, in a time trial to determine the winners.
