Clemson Rowing Varsity 8+ Named ACC Crew Of The Week

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson rowing team’s varsity 8+ was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week. The Tigers’ varsity 8+ competed in the Clemson Invitational against Indiana and George Mason, helping lead Clemson to a five-race sweep of both teams.

The varsity 8+ posted a time of 6:44.30, defeating Indiana and George Mason, who finished with times of 7:15.10 and 7:19.30, respectively. The ACC Crew of the Week is comprised of Aimee Fox, Liz Monteith, Farrell Finstad, Katherine Sloan, Megan McGuirt, Lucy Doolittle, Kate Barton, Sally Kukla and coxswain Emily Kuivila.

This is the second ACC Crew of the Week honor for the Tigers as the novice 8+ earned the accolade for the week of Mar. 11.
