Clemson Rowing Travels to Charlottesville for Virginia Invitational

Clemson, SC – The 14th ranked Clemson rowing team will compete in the Virginia Invitational on Saturday, April 11 in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Tigers will race crews from Virginia, Tennessee, and Central Florida beginning at 9 a.m. on Lake Monticello.

The Novice 8+ crew will race against Virginia to begin the competition for the Tigers. Following the novice race, Clemson will face Central Florida for four consecutive races. The crews competing include the first and second varsity fours and the first and second varsity eights.

Beginning at 12:20 p.m., the Tigers will face Tennessee with four crews competing once again. At 12:30 p.m. the Tigers Second Novice 8+ will face Virginia.

Clemson is coming off of three victories against Old Dominion last Saturday on Lake Hartwell. The Virginia Invitational marks the last regatta before the Tigers travel to Oak Ridge, Tenn. for the ACC Championships on April 20.
