Clemson Rowing to Host Notre Dame and North Carolina

The Tiger rowing team will face Notre Dame as well as North Carolina this Wednesday. Clemson will compete in the varsity 8+, second varsity 8+, varsity 4+, second varsity 4+, second novice 8+ and novice 8+ races. The regatta is scheduled to begin at 3:20 pm.

Clemson last faced Notre Dame at the South/Central Region Championships. In 2002 Notre Dame finished ranked 13th. The Tigers’ last saw North Carolina in the ACC Championships at the end of the 2002 season. Clemson finished third, above the fourth-place Tarheels.

Last weekend the Tigers hosted a dual regatta against Michigan State. The Tigers finished first in the Second Varsity 4+, Second Novice 8+, and Novice 8+, while falling to the Spartans in the Novice 4+, Varsity 4+, Second Varsity 8+ and the Varsity 8+.
