Clemson Rowing To Hold Annual Class Day Regatta

The Tiger rowing team will holds its fifth annual Class Day Regatta Saturday on Lake Hartwell. The first race will begin at 10:00 AM with the Freshmen/Novice Race which will be made up of four mixed boats. At 10:45 the Class Day Race will begin with the Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, and Alumni competing. Traditionally, each boat must dress in a theme or costume as their racing uniform.

Earlier this fall Tiger rowing competed in the Head of Lake Hartwell. Clemson’s varsity 4+ boat won the Championship 4+ race with a time of 22:07.6. The Tigers will race next in the Championship 8+ race at the 2002 Head of the Charles in Boston, MA on October 20th.
