Clemson Rowing To Compete in Two Locations This Weekend

The Clemson rowing team will split its crews this weekend and compete at two different locations. The varsity 8+ and second varsity 8+ crews will compete head to head with Southern Cal in the Port of Los Angeles. That event is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM (Pacific Time). The remainder of Clemson’s crews, the novice groups and varsity 4+ crew, will compete in the Clemson Sprints, hosted on Lake Hartwell by the Clemson Club Crew.

The Clemson Sprints will get underway at East Beach at 8:00 AM on Saturday. The first women’s event will be the varsity 4+ heats, which take place between 8:30 and 9:00. The novice 4+ heats are going to be held between 10:45 and 11:15. Following a lunch break, final competitions for the varsity 4+, novice 8+, and varsity 8+ will be held. Clemson’s novice 8+ will be racing in place of the first varsity 8+ crew, which is at Southern Cal.
