The Clemson rowing team will travel to Boston, MA this weekend to compete in the 43rd annual Head of the Charles regatta. The Tigers will face top-notch competition from around the country, including defending NCAA Champion Brown.

The Varsity 8+ boat will compete in the final event of the regatta shortly after 4:00 on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers will be competing against 38 other boats in the 3-mile race. Clemson has drawn the 16th starting position, next to crews from the University of Iowa and Boston University.

Last season, Clemson finished 21st out of 45 boats in the championship 8+ race.

Following this weekend’s competition, the Tigers will round out their fall season on November 3 at the Head of the Hooch regatta.
