CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson rowing team’s second varsity 8+ was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week. The Tigers’ second varsity 8+ competed in the Longhorn Invitational defeating Iowa, Kansas State, Southern Methodist and Texas to remain undefeated on the season.

The second varsity 8+ posted four victories recording their best time against Iowa with a 6:55.1 mark. The ACC Crew of the Week is comprised of Nicolette Burgess, Lisa Mischley, Robin Mescher, Alden Burley, Kathy Sickinger, Jen Wortman, Kate Niebauer, Heidi Robillard and coxswain Gail Cadorniga.

This is the third ACC Crew of the Week honor for the Tigers as the novice 8+ earned the accolade for the week of Mar. 11 and the first varsity 8+ claimed the honor for the week of Mar. 18.
