Clemson Rowing Announces Newcomers

CLEMSON, S.C.-The Clemson rowing team completed its roster last Thursday afternoon when they named 26 new student-athletes to their team. These Tigers have been going through the try-out process since the start of school and have been practicing in the upper deck of the Doug Kingsmore Stadium. There they have learned the basic fundamentals that are necessary to become successful rowers. These new Tiger rowers will join the twelve already recruited freshman to complete the “novice class.”

Head Coach, Susie Lueck is excited about the talent that this “novice team” will bring to the rest of the squad. “I am looking forward to our best year yet with the addition of our recruits as well as gifted walk-ons. We have a great group of student-athletes to work with and our returning team came back in great shape and came ready to lead this class to success.”
