Clemson Athletics completed 8,888 COVID-19 PCR tests on student-athletes and staff from Mar. 5 to April 18. Eleven individuals received positive results during the six-week period, including seven student-athletes and four staff members, or 0.1% positive.
Since student-athletes returned to campus June 1, 2020, Clemson student-athletes and athletic staff have completed 47,042 COVID-19 PCR tests, with 319 positive results (218 student-athletes, 101 staff), 0.7% positive, and no hospitalizations.
Since Jan. 1, Clemson student-athletes and athletic staff have completed 23,053 COVID-19 PCR tests, with 88 positive results (49 student-athletes, 39 staff), 0.4% positive, and no hospitalizations.
