Chrissy Floyd is second in Clemson history in career scoring with 1,937 career points. Only all-time great Barbara Kennedy has scored more. She joins Kennedy as the only players in Clemson history and two of 4 players in league history to make an All-ACC team all four years of her career. Those honors include a first-team selection as a junior and senior.
Floyd was a three-time All-District selection and ranked 25th in ACC history in career scoring at the end of her career. The native of Laurens, SC joins Kennedy as a four-time leader in scoring at Clemson.
Clemson made 3 NCAA Tournament appearances and ranked in the final AP poll once, during her outstanding career.
Floyd’s career was put into perspective when she was named to the ACC 50-Year Anniversary team. She was one of only two current Clemson athletes named to the team, joining golfer D.J. Trahan.
