Clemson, S.C. – Head Coach Eddie Radwanski and the Clemson women’s soccer staff have announced the 2020 spring match schedule. The Tigers will hit the road against three SEC opponents and welcome Kennesaw St. and Anderson University to Historic Riggs Field.
Clemson returns to action after spending 10 consecutive weeks in the United Soccer Coaches national poll and earning an NCAA Second Round appearance in the 2019 season.
The Tigers will face off against familiar foes as they take trips to both Georgia and Auburn. Clemson most recently shared a meeting with the Bulldogs in the 2019 season as the Tigers took the 2-1 decision at Historic Riggs Field. On the other hand, the Tigers have not matched up against Auburn since a 2018 exhibition.
Although the Tigers met the Florida Gators in the 2002 regular season, it will be the first time since the 2015 spring season that the two have faced off. However, this spring’s match will bring the two sides to neutral territory as they travel to the Georgia Soccer Park in Atlanta, Ga.
Clemson will wrap up the spring slate against Anderson on April 17 as the Tigers will welcome kids 12 and under to join in a Kids Clinic following the completion of the 6 p.m. match.
