WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Clemson women’s soccer team suffered a 2-1 loss to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Thursday evening at Spry Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C. With the loss, the Tigers moved to 9-7 overall and 4-4 in the ACC, while Wake Forest improved to 7-7-1 overall and 3-5 in conference play.
HOW IT WAS DECIDEDFour minutes into the second half, Bayley Feist sent a pass through to Giovanna DeMarco who got behind the Clemson defense. DeMarco then beat Tiger keeper Sandy MacIver to give the Demon Deacons a 2-0 advantage early in the second.

UP NEXTClemson travels north to Blacksburg, Va. for a Sunday matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies. The match is set to kickoff at 1 p.m. at Thompson Field. The Tigers close out the regular season on Thursday, Oct. 25 on the road against Syracuse.
