On Friday, May 1, student-athletes Taylor Hoynacki (rowing) and Katrina Obas (swimming & diving) visited Rosman Middle School to deliver prizes to seventh grade students that participated in the T.I.G.E.R! Talk program during the spring semester. The students earned prizes by talking with their student-athlete buddy via e-mail and answering prompts that focused on the character traits in the Be a T.I.G.E.R! program.
Throughout the 2008-09 academic year, four area middle schools participated and were paired with over 100 student-athlete mentors in this innovative program that partners with Clemson University’s Eugene Moore School of Education and utilizes the Digital Express system.
