CLEMSON, S.C. — Following its wins over No. 25 Syracuse and Chattanooga, the Clemson women’s tennis team (13-7, 2-6 ACC) improved to No. 33 in the ITA team rankings. No. 33 is the highest ranking the Tigers have earned since 2018.
Additionally, junior Dani Medvedeva continued to shine over the past two weeks and moved from No. 125 to the No. 74 singles player in the nation. She holds a 15-2 record in dual matches this season and is 3-0 against nationally ranked opponents, including a victory over No. 24 Emma Jackson of Duke.
Medvedeva is one of many Tigers who have stepped up this season. Sophia Hatton has been extraordinary thus far, holding a 13-2 record in dual matches. She is a perfect 7-0 from Courts 5 and 6.
The Tigers will take a brief break from ACC action this weekend when they host No. 24 UCF on Sunday, Mar. 26 for a ranked matchup at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m.
