- The Clemson women’s team is the No. 12 seed in the 2019 ACC Championship, and faces No. 13-seeded Virginia Tech in the first round of the tournament on Wednesday, April 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
- When Clemson and Virginia Tech met during the regular season, on Feb. 8 at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility, the Tigers won a 5-2 decision, in which they won the doubles point, and Fernanda Navarro, Sydney Riley, Alex Angyalosy and Laura Marti earned singles victories.
- The Tigers are coming off of two home wins to conclude the ACC regular season, a 6-1 victory over Pitt on April 12 and a 4-3 upset over No. 31 Syracuse on April 14.
- Out of their 24 regular season matches, the Tigers faced 12 opponents ranked in the ITA poll, including eight in the top-25 and three in the top-five in the nation.
- Marie-Alexandre Leduc and Fernanda Navarro are currently ranked ninth in the nation in doubles, according to the ITA poll released on April 16. The duo is 27-8 overall in 2018-19, including 15-5 in dual matches and 8-4 in ACC dual matches.
- Both seniors are also ranked in the ITA singles poll, as Leduc is listed at 89th nationally, and Navarro is 110th. Leduc has been a mainstay at No. 1 singles for the Tigers all season, while Navarro has played the No. 2 position.
