CLEMSON, S.C. – As we reach towards the end of the regular season, three Tigers have earned national recognition as Makenna Morris, Megan Bornkamp and Halle Mackiewicz were all named to Top Drawer Soccer’s Midseason National Top 100 Rankings, as announced this past week.
Morris earned the highest ranking for Clemson as she was listed at No. 8 for her dominating performances so far this season. The senior has led the team in points and goals for majority of the year as she has 19 points and seven goals in the 2023 campaign.
Earning the No. 19 ranking is Bornkamp, who is halfway through another successful season in a Tiger uniform. The senior has nine points on the year as she has recorded five assists and two goals so far this season.
In goal for the Tigers this season has been star-keeper, Mackiewicz who rounds out the Tigers with the No. 48 ranking. Mackiewicz has recorded 10 clean sheets this season for Clemson and continues to lead the nation in shutouts.
The three Tigers are back on the pitch on Thursday as they play host to Louisville at Historic Riggs Field. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ACCNX.
