Clemson, SC–Clemson All-American Kyle Stanley fired a final round 63 to finish in third place at the Players Amateur Championship in Bluffton, SC on Sunday. Stanley finished with a four-round total of 268, 20-under par.
Rickie Fowler won the event with a 24-under par 264 total. It marked the second straight year that Stanley finished third in the event with a 20-under-par score for the 72 holes.
Ben Martin struggled on Sunday with a 77, but still finished in 14th place with a 281 score, seven under par. He had perhaps his best round of the summer with a 66 in the third round. Phillip Mollica, who won the North-South Amateur the previous weekend, finished 24th with a 283 score, five under par.
