#20  Philip Mayaka

On Jan. 14, 2021, the MLS announced Mayaka as a Generation adidas signee. Mayaka was selected by the Colorado Rapids during the 2021 MLS SuperDraft (Jan. 21) with the No. 3 overall pick and did not return for the 2021 spring season.

• Recorded his 45th career shot during the ACC Final against Pittsburgh (Nov. 22).
• Earned his 25th start for Clemson in the team’s match against NC State (Oct. 23).
• Earned nine starts in the midfield for Clemson throughout the season.
• Made his 25th appearance for Clemson in the match against Wake Forest (Oct. 13).
• Has played in 10 of the team’s 11 matches this season, making his season debut in the team’s match against UAB (Oct. 5).

2019 Season (Freshman)

• Started 20 matches, playing in all 22 throughout the season.
• Scored two goals, both serving as game-winning scores, during freshman campaign.
  • UNC Greensboro (Sept. 6) and Notre Dame (Nov. 10). 
• Contributed eight assists throughout the year.
  • Had multi-assist matches against Detroit Mercy (Sept. 9) and at Notre Dame (Sept. 13).

Prior to Clemson

• Was a product of Montverde Academy.
