The Next Chapter: My Journey to Clemson

2020 Season (*Senior)

  • Scored his first goal as a Tiger from the penalty spot in the 16th minute against the Gamecocks.
    • Was one of two Tigers to score a penalty kick during the season.
  • Contributed three assists throughout the campaign.
    • Contributed the assist on Clemson’s first goal of the ACC Championship match (Nov. 22).
  • Made an appearance in all 11 matches during the fall, starting 10.
  • Ranked in a tie for fourth for most shots (14) and shots on goal (6) during the season.
  • Made first-career Clemson start during the Tigers’ season opener at South Carolina (Oct. 1).

While at Boston College…

Johnson joins Clemson’s program after three seasons and four years at Boston College, serving as an integral piece to the Eagles’ midfield during his time in Chestnut Hill. A native of New York, N.Y., Johnson made 52 appearances and earned 28 starts in three years with the Eagles. In his three years, Johnson contributed eight goals and 10 assists for his side, with four of his goals serving as game-winners.
