Solid Orange Squad Holds Assembly at Homeland Park Elementary School

On Wednesday, September 30, the Solid Orange Squad headed to Homeland Park Elementary School to speak with students. Stephanie Buffo (cross country) and Bethanie Wachna (track and field) presented the Be A T.I.G.E.R.! program to the school’s fourth and fifth grade students.

The students from Homeland Park were engaged and willing participants throughout the assembly. Many had goals related to what they wanted to be when they grew up. The SOS members encouraged these goals by sharing personal stories and discussing the T.I.G.E.R.! traits of teamwork, integrity, gratitude, education and respect.
