Seth Broster Named ACC Swimming and Diving Performer-of-the-Week

GREENSBORO, NC – Clemson sophomore Seth Broster was selected as this weeks Men’s Performer of the Week, for the period ending January 31. Broster is the first Tiger to garner an ACC weekly swimming and diving accolade this season.

Broster competed in four events in the Tigers’ regular-season finale against Duke (Jan. 30), finishing in first place in three competitions. Individually, the Lexington, Ky., native won the 100-yard freestyle in 46.21, and placed third in the 100-yard butterfly in 51.19, as Clemson defeated the Blue Devils, 182-116. Broster also guided two relay teams to victory, as the 400-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay squads clocked times of 3:05.19 and 1:32.00, respectively.

Broster is currently ranked eighth in the ACC in the 100 freestyle this season and ranks 10th in the 100 butterfly. This is Broster’s first Performer of the Week honor in his career and Clemson’s first male Performer of the Week since Mark Henly earned the honor in 2004.
