CLEMSON, SC – Clemson men’s soccer senior Austin Savage has been accepted to participate in the InfoSport: Pro Soccer Combine, being held in Lakewood Ranch, FL (Bradenton/Sarasota area). The three-day event (January 8-10, 2013) brings in approximately 250 aspiring professional soccer players from around the world.
“InfoSport’s professional combines are recognized around the soccer world as one of the most effective means for players to showcase their talents and advance their professional careers. Countless soccer players who have used InfoSport’s services have been drafted or signed free agent contracts with teams in MLS, USL, NASL, MISL and countries around the world over the past 12 years,” said Julie D. Lanzillo, InfoSport President.
InfoSport’s Pro Soccer Combines have grown into a spectacular annual event enabling talented, aspiring pro players the chance to display their talents. MLS, USL, NASL and MISL coaches, scouts and agents are always in attendance. At the combine, InfoSport’s Director of Soccer, Daryl Shore, an NASL head coach (Fort Lauderdale Strikers) and former MLS Assistant Coach (Chicago Fire), assembles an unparalleled coaching and evaluation staff from the professional soccer ranks of the United States.
Already scheduled to be on staff at the 2013 InfoSport Pro Soccer Combine are CJ Brown (Assistant Coach, Real Salt Lake, MLS); Ezra Hendrickson (Assistant Coach, Seattle Sounders, MLS); Tim Hanley (Assistant Coach, Houston Dynamo, MLS); John Pascarella (Assistant Coach, Sporting KC, MLS); Denis Hamlett (Assistant Coach, Montreal Impact, MLS); Aron Hyde (Assistant Coach, Chicago Fire, MLS); Jesse Myers (Head Coach, Rochester Rhinos, USL Pro); Steve Widdowson (Assistant Coach, Harrisburg City Islanders, USL Pro); Justin Evans (Head Coach, Pittsburgh Riverhounds, USL Pro); Brian Haynes (Head Coach, Atlanta Silverbacks, NASL); Ricardo Lopes (Assistant Coach, Ft. Lauderdale Strikers, NASL); Colin Clarke (Head Coach, Carolina RailHawks, NASL); Adrian Whitbread (Head Coach, Puerto Rico Islanders, NASL); and Nic Platter (current professional goalkeeper and coach, Carolina RailHawks, NASL and former InfoSport Combine participant, 2005).
