Rowing Set For Sunshine State Invite

SARASOTA, Fla. – The Clemson rowing team continues its 2018 spring campaign this weekend with the Sunshine State Invite. The two-day event takes place in Sarasota, Fla., also the site of the 2018 NCAA Rowing Championships. Races will begin on Friday afternoon at Nathan Benderson Park and will continue into Saturday afternoon.

Clemson, who received votes in the USRowing/CRCA Coaches’ Polls this week for the first time since May 20, 2015, is sending boats to compete in the 1V4, 2V4, 1V8, 2V8 and 3V8. The field for the event includes Jacksonville University, Miami, Southern Methodist University, University of Central Florida, Stetson and North Carolina.
